Question / Project Cards
To what extent do public school students have the right to free speech? Is it ethical to bring back extinct species, and how does that work? How is pollution related to racial and economic inequality?
The contemporary questions that interest us as adults – like those about power, extinction and health – can be asked in ways that resonate with young people, too. And, their answers can be manifest in real world answers: games, books, stories, art, and more. We designed this collection of question and project cards that can be mixed and matched as a way of planning new units or brainstorming project ideas. We like to print the questions on one color and the projects on another.
